Piet Mondrian Art Simulation

Studying music and art theory changes how we see structure and composition, engaging both creative and analytical thinking. During my master’s program, one memorable project was modeling Piet Mondrian’s art using the Processing programming language. We broke his work into primitives (systems thinking), mapped them to data structures (arrays, kd-tree), and rebuilt the composition — turning passive appreciation into active creation.
